Hi there!
Yesterday I went on what will be my kids' last field trip at their Montessori school.
This was my 4th time on this trip I think and I've loved going every year! I was not a chaperone, but I did end up keeping an eye on another kid besides my own. My baby has a bestie, and they wanted to play together the whole time.
There is nothing better than watching your kids enjoy life. These boys had SO MUCH FUN together, it was just beautiful!!! Riding a wagon, playing on three playground, in a giant pit of corn, feeding animals. So many advertises in one day! If you're in the Chicagoland area and have never been to Goebbett's Farm, you're missing out!
I wore this cute balloon sleeve top from Target, by Ava & Viv. It's lightweight and semi-sheer, so even though it ended up being 85 degrees on October 3rd (!!!), I didn't feel like I was dying. I like that it's got a fitted shape - not boxy like I usually find Ava & Viv to be. I rarely buy clothes from that line because I don't find then flattering. But the shape of this gave me shape and I love it!
Can we talk about this Gucci Bucket Bag I'm carrying?!?!? It's another vintage piece I grabbed from GucciKindOfDay on Instagram. Mine is fro the 80's.
The current Ophida Bucket Bag is selling for over $1800. I paid much, much, much less for the exact same look. I kinda like having the original instead of the current copy! Check out Tina's page for some cool vintage Gucci finds!
Until next time!

Puzzles The Whole Family Can Do
This post is sponsored by Jigsaw Puzzle but the
content and opinions expressed here are my own.
A few weeks ago when we went on vacation to Europe, we bought all of our kids iPads to take on the trip. We knew they were going to need entertainment. Until that trip, we only had 1 iPad and they had to shate it. That would NOT work on an 8 hour flight.
But we knew the iPads were going to become an addiction, so I tried to load them with apps that would at least stimulate their brains a little. I want to share one that has become a favorite - Jigsaw Puzzle.
It is its name - jigsaw puzzles. Over 20,000 of them to choose from!!!
What's super cool about it is you can choose the number of pieces the puzzles have. Only a few for kids to do, or up to 400 pieces for adults - even more if you are using a tablet.
This was an awesome way to spend time on our trip and it's carried over at home. I love this app and so do my kids! When I have a few minutes of down time, I turn this on.
It's been a benefit because as a stay at home mom, sometimes my days get all caught up in house work and errands (and blogging) and I don't get much time to do things to really stimulate my brain. We all know puzzles, of any kind, help keep your brain sharp. So I love that I have access to so many colorful and challenging puzzles right on my phone or iPad. And they are great practice for the kids too!
Learn more about Jigsaw Puzzle by downloading the game in the Apple Store or the Google Play store.
And HAVE FUN!!!
Until next time,

Ladies Who Lunch (With Kids Bring iPads Just In Case)
Hi there!
I took my monkeys to Willis Tower for lunch with some friends visiting from out of town. The view from the 66th floor is so beautiful!
I was nearly and hour late. No matter how early I start getting ready, I still manage to be late! And today was compounded by #1, breaking rules and going outside to play soccer without me, managing to cut his toe and ankle somehow. We had to spend an extra 10+ minutes finding First Aid supplies and fighting him to let us clean his wounds.
My kids behaved badly. They were excited to see friends and be in a high rise, but that didn't explain all of why they were acting so crazy. Thankfully I brought their new iPads just in case. And I gave them over with no shame just to keep them quiet.
All 3 of them knocked out in the car on the way home - bad behavior explained!!! Anyone else's kids act ridiculous when they are tired!??!My poor kiddos have been EXHAUSTED since we got back from the UK. It's been a week and they are still not back to normal!
I love this dress, which I also work in England but never got a photo of. It's so cute! I wish it came in other colors!!! It's only $33!
Anyway, this haircut is almost done so time to pack it up!

Until next time,
xoxo
Ver- Sigh.
Hi there!
So listen - I'm usually a very non-confrontational person. I have to really be pushed to my limits to yell at an elder or a stranger. So, I've honestly surprised myself with the number of people I've yelled at on this trip. From being spit on (accidentally - maybe???), to cutting in lines to having not so secret photos taken of me (yes, AGAIN!!!) People are so disrespectful!!! But despite the rude people and a TWO HOUR WAIT to get into Versailles, we had a very nice day.
Has anyone else waited this long to get into Versaille??? We went on our last trip here and I don't think we waited at all! And we went in July, so it's not that we went in a different season. Our kids were absolute troopers during the wait. They've honestly been amazing this whole trip. We are super proud of them!
Versaille was underwhelming today. It was difficult to enjoy the palace because it was so crowded and hot.
The gardens were super fun for the kids though. Renting a row boat was probably the highlight for the kids.
My poor mom got stung by a bee. They were out in full force. I'm glad it wasn't one of the kids!
My top is from SheIn! Blog post to come when I get home! These cute pants are from Target. They are linked below 😘
Whatever made me think it was a smart idea to start writing a blog post at 1am, I have no idea. So I'm going to bed!
Until next time,

Basic Invite's Christmas in July (Or August - Close Enough!)
This is a sponsored post, but all photos and opinions are my own.
Hi there!
I know all of us moms are always looking to get our holiday cards online super quickly but also want them to look great. I tend to be SO last minute and end up printing my cards at a local drug store. This year I SWEAR I'm going to be proactive and think ahead! I SWEAR!!! LOL
I mean, I go through all the trouble to arrange holiday photos every year and then get them printed on some flimsy photo paper. It's not cute at all! So I heard about Basic Invite and tried it out. Because they let you get SAMPLES!!!
How cute are these cards???
I just tested out a few photos I loved to see how they might look on a holiday cards. I tried Christmas and Valentine's Day cards. Right now, they are having a Christmas in July sale! So, I know it's August. But, as usually, I'm late LOL! Use the code HOLI30 for 30% off your order! They don't have to be Christmas cards - the code is valid site-wide! So if you have a birthday or shower coming up, get to ordering!!!
This card showed all the color options on both sides
What I thought was really cool about Basic Invite is that even though you are working from templates, you can still customize! Like I design, but aren't crazy about the color scheme? CHANGE IT! There are over 180 different color options so you can make sure the card is exactly how you want.
Like I said, Basic Invite allows you to order a sample of their actual invitation, printed on quality paper, so you can see how it will look before you place a final order. I found this helpful, because as you can see on this card, there is a spacing issue. I didn't notice it when I designed it online. But, if this was the card I wanted to send to all my friends, I have a chance to go back and correct this issue before paying for 100 cards and having to send them out with this imperfection.
I got my samples in about a week, which is cool. I think they came out so nicely!!!
And they offer over 40 different Colors of envelopes! I didn't take advantage of this, but it's fun to know it's an option! I also love that all of the envelopes are peel and seal so I don't have to lick anything LOL!
And, this I think is awesome - you can share a link to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or any other form of social media to request friends and family’s addresses. They will be stored in your account and added to the envelopes when you order! For Christmas cards there is no extra charge for this service, which is amazing!
One issue I had with the site was that it took a while for my photos to load in order to design the cards. I'm not sure if that's normal though. I was in a hotel using their free wi-fi when I ordered these samples, so that could have been the issue with the upload. But, once the photos were uploaded, design was a piece of cake.

Overall, I'm really impressed with my samples and plan to use Basic Invite for my holiday cards this year! I really like the variety of cards and all of the customization is awesome! I don't have to worry I can't find a card I like that doesn't clash with our wardrobe choices or just my general taste - I can change anything I don't like!
And don't forget their 30% off sale, using the code HOLI30!

Let me know what you think of the cards! And if you have any questions, just ask :)
