The Glam Mom #OOTD/#OOTN - Saturday Date Night and Sunday Birthday Party

Hi there!

So, when I originally conceptualized this blog months and months ago, I really thought I'd be posting more mom stories and makeup/beauty looks and tips, with fashion thrown in here and there. But, in posting over the last 2 weeks, I've realized that what I wear gets as much thought as how I do my face. So, I've decided that fashion will definitely need to be a regular part of this blog. I'm a plus sized mama (currently wearing a 14), and I think I manage to dress my shape fairly well. Not everything is a hit, for sure! But, I think I do fairly well. Plus, like I've said before, I LOVE to shop!!! So, anyways...

I was so excited to wear this dress out on date night on Saturday night! It's a Lu La Roe Madison dress ($50). This dress is made of lightweight, stretchy fabric and is perfect for a busy mom who likes to Glam It Up! The cut is great for a busty gal like me. And this color? TO DIE FOR!! The perfect neon pink for summer. I can't wait to wear this again - because it can be worn BACKWARDS! Look out for a post about why I'm LOVING Lu La Roe soon. My shoes are a Vince Camuto faux croc-patterned platform pump, and my bag is a Chanel Classic Jumbo Double Flap. It's like my 4th child! LOL!

Sunday afternoon we headed to a birthday party, so I decided to try a few of the new items I picked up throughout the week.

My whole outfit is from Forever 21. The t-shirt ($16) says "Best Dressed" because...isn't it obvious??? LOL! Jeans are cropped skinnies in black. My hand is hiding a stain that I got from the birthday party, because I'm a mom and I almost always have a stain that my kids left somewhere.

From Aldo, they are the new Dyane loafer ($85). Like I said when I posted on Instagram - I DIE!!! I LOVE menswear for womenswear. I will rock a tuxedo pant or a vest any day of the week! This isn't the first men's-style shoe I've purchased, and it won't be the last. These will be in rotation for a long while.
