I received these products free for review but all opinions expressed are my own.
Hi there!I'm always ready to try out new hair products. My hair has been through so much over the years and always seems to be having new issues. So when Hask asked me to try their new Superfruit Healthy Hair Collection, I was happy to! Especially the deep conditioner!
These products are formulated with Brilliant Shine Complex, which is a conditioning blend that helps maintain natural shine, fight frizz and restore resilience. Hask states that "superfruits have become mainstays within the health and beauty industry and for good reason – they are filled with more vitamins, anti-oxidants, minerals and fatty-acids than any other fruits." All products are free of sulfates, parabens, phthalates, gluten, drying alcohol and artificial colors."
I had no idea what Superfruits are, but thankfully the Hask website gives a great breakdown. The shampoo contains Dragonfruit, Acai Berry and Mangosteen. The conditioner adds in Amazonian cupuaça butter for shine. The deep conditioner uses papaya for smoothness.
What I noticed when I used the shampoo is that it has a very fresh, kind of salon-formula scent, which I wasn't expecting since it's a fruit-filled line. But I love a fresh, clean scent so it was just fine.
The conditioner was actually really impressive. With a lot of conditioners I need a TON of it to give my hair any slip, but only one squeeze (maybe the size of 2 quarters) was enough to condition my hair and give it enough slip that I could easily detangle it.
The deep conditioner was good. The downside to it for me its that it has to be left on for 10 minutes. Lately I've been defaulting to conditioners that do double work as a deep conditioner if you leave it on for a little extra time. I need time saving products like that with 3 kids hanging around outside the bathroom while I get ready. But, I'm sure I can find an extra 10 minutes once a week for something like this.
Overall I liked these products! My husband does too as he has taken over the shampoo. That's another benefit - a product we both can use. It would save us money over time instead of buying separate brands.
This product is available at major drug stores like Walgreens and CVS or at Target and Ulta. Check the Hask site for a full list of retailers.
Until next time,
xoxo
The bag looks cute, and I love your eyebrows!
