It's been a few months! I always say I'm going to write here regularly, but it's so hard!
Anyway, I want to share a product I finally tried - Kiss Falscara Lash Extensions.
I bought this kit a few months ago but forgot about it! I finally gave it a chance last weekend and was pleasantly surprised.
This starter kit comes with a set of lashes, an applicator and the Falscara bond and seal adhesive.
The lashes are split into 5 sections, all the same width and length. You don't have to use them all. The first day I used them I used all 5, the next day I only used 4. Yes, they are reusable!
They are actually really easy to use.
You apply the "bond" adhesive to your lashes like mascara and simply pop the lashes on UNDER you natural lashes. I've never done this before, but it was easier than I thought it would be. I ended up ditching the applicator - it was easier for me to use my fingers.
I did put one lash section on crooked. I just left it that way - it didn't look that bad.
You can see it here. It did leave a little gap, but it didn't really bother me. The next day I was able to get them on straight!
The "bond" is sticky, so you have to use the "seal" to set the lashes. Again, just apply like mascara.
I didn't really know if these were temporary or not, so I slept in them and when I woke up I quickly realized they were meant to come off before bed time LOL! They were all bent and stuck to my eye lid. BUT! They popped right off and reshaped with no trouble. I took a shower and put them right back on for my morning photoshoot. That 2nd night, I actually removed them by simply swiping a q-tip with liquid remove across the bottom of my lashes and the wisps popped off so easy, with no damage to my natural lashes. I watched in my magnifying mirror to be sure.
The bond is difficult to get off your lashes though. This product does have it's own remover, but I didn't know that until after the fact. I used wipes, liquid remover and soap and water and my lashes were still sticky the next day. 2 days after though, they were back to normal.
This is a nice product! It doesn't take long to put them on once you get the hang of it. I love that its reusable. And I think they looked REALLY natural! I do wish they didn't need to be reapplied daily. A longer lasting adhesive would be nice. But there are other products on the market that do that. This is great for what it is though!
I think it's affordable, especially since it's reusable. I just grabbed this kit at Walgreens one day and I will probably grab a refill set next time I go, now that I know I like it.
Glam or Slam? This is def a Glam! Check out the How To video from Kiss HERE, and buy a set for yourself HERE.
Until next time,
xoxo
