I received the product free for review, but all options expressed are my own.

Disclosure
NO SNAILS WERE HARMED IN THE MAKING OF THIS PRODUCT!!!

Hi there!

Ok - So I had to get that out of the way first because when I was first offered this product I was like "SNAILS???  WHAT???" But, this is made with Snail Essense, which is a highly concentrated blend proteins, glycolic acids and elastin that nature has developed as a way to protect snail skin from damage, infection and UV rays and has now been proven to awaken the youth in hair. It is well known for its super-moisturising properties.
Kenra's site states these are the benefits of this product:

- Boosts shine
- Increases thickness
- Reduces breakage
- Tames frizz & flyaways
- Hydrates hair
- Improves elasticity
- Relieves scalp irritation
- Increases manageability
- Decreases coarseness for noticeably softer strands
- Provides heat protection
- Paraben and sulfate free
- For all hair types

I've tried this 2 times already and I think it's nice! It made my hair feel silky and when I blow dried it, it was smooth and shiny.  So I can speak to the instant benefits of the cream, but as I haven't tried it for a long time, I can't confirm long term benefits like reducing breakage or increasing thickness.  But in doing some researching into the snail cream craze, it seems like it's been around for a long time and people all over the world are using it for skincare. And it's currently a huge trend in Korea, where it's believed to be the best anti-aging skincare for your hair (don't forget, your hair is considered part of your skin!). You can read a lot more information about the history and the benefits of Snail Essense HERE.

The 2nd time I used this product, I curled my hair and threw in some hair extensions and it looked really great! I totally #SnailedIt! LOL! I will continue to try this product because my hair is color treated and I need to keep it moisturized to avoid breakage.  I will try to update in a few months after I've used it for longer.
This product is now available at Ulta for $25 if you'd like to give it a try! The name was enough to intrigue me!

Let me know if you try it or if you have any questions!

Until next time,

xoxo
